The RAINCOATS have a built in SNOOD that has a 2.5" opening to accomodate a leash hook-up. Snood also has a light-reflecting draw cord with spring loaded toggles for snugging up around the Hound's face or neck. There is a large dart along the top line to shape the coat to the Hound's butt, providing more coverage.
The 'T Strap' derives its name from the piece that goes between the Hound's front legs, covers the chest, then wraps up on the Hound's back with VELCRO to form the closure.
The 'Belly Band' closes under the Hound's chest/belly area with VELCRO, there is no chest covering. All seams are reinforced for strength, and double top-stitched for a tailored look.

There are 2 newly available water repellent fabrics. They are lighter weight than the '420 Denier Pack Cloth' and not quite as abrasion resistant. They are perfect for the warmer weather areas and for the Hounds who prefer to just walk and not play roughly. The OLIVE ( a dark brown-green) is from BURBERRY, the high-end clothing known for their outer wear and their distinctive plaids. The LODEN (a dark grey-green) is from ULTREX, and is used primarily in skiwear, cycling wear, and outwer wear.
