Steppin' Out, or Kickin' Back, These No (longer) Nude Hounds

 Have Reason To Roooo!

In December '05 I decided to send No Nude Hounds raincoats to the 'First Dogs,' Barney and Miss Beazley. In 1989 I had made a machine knit sweater-vest for Barbara Bush ("Mrs. Bush, 41"), and received a very nice 'Thank You' note. I thought it would be neat to have a similar note from ''Mrs. Bush, 43.'' Mac told me not to be too surprised if one day I was to look out the doorwall of my sewing room and see a parade of black Ford 'Crown Vics,' full of Secret Service Agents, snaking up the mountain, looking for Kerry McMullen. So far, it hasn't happened, but I did get the very nice 'Thank You' note.

These 2 lovely girls, Tigress and Glory proudly stand with their Dad, whose name I can't mention, but he's already served 3 tours of duty in Iraq, and I believe he is currently in Afghanistan.
He is one of America's finest. We thank him and all of those who currently serve in the military. The McMullen family supports the U.S service men and women. My Dad served in WW2, and Mac served during the Viet Nam war. If it weren't for all these heroes we would not have our freedom in any way, shape or form.

"The (rain) coats are fabulous in the rain, water rolls right off. The lining provides enouth warmth for our KY climate and the hoods come in so handy on nasty days! The fit is perfect and the service was exemplary! We highly recommend NO NUDE HOUNDS to all of our Greyt friends!'
Keith, Mary, Chancey and Mattie Johnson

Toby, not a Hound, but not NUDE, either, thanks to his stylish red-with-black-hearts unitard.

Dave and Faulkner Bromfield.
"I love my unitards!" I have two boys who get cold at night because Mommy likes to sleep with the window open. I recently received two unitards for my birthday so the boys get to lounge and sleep in style and comfort! This handsome guy is wearing a 'STORM COAT' with T-Strap. His mom wanted some 'safety' tape, but I didn't have any, so I suggested
I applique some flames made of reflective 'rip-stop' nylon.
"...you did a superb job with its construction and appliqued flames.
Everyone compliments it, even some town workers stopped us at the
park to comment on it. Kids think it's cool, and I think other dogs are
jealous! He is certainly the best dressed dog around!"
If I receive enough interest in the 'SAFETY FEATURES,' they'll
become an option.

"JADE"
''Thank you so much for the unitard. It is so cute. And a big thank you for getting it to me so fast! As I mentioned, my girl had surgery and I had been using a 'human' t-shirt to prevent her from getting to the staples and bandages. but the unitard fits her perfectly, covers her bandages, and will be much more comfortable for her.''

Millie modeling her Unitard with Snood. This is the 'prototype'
and I will offer this as an option.

Millie's Mom says:
"I received (the unitard) today..it's perfect! Thanks so much. She's still getting used to walking around in it, but she's not nearly as 'bound up' as I thought she'd be. After about 5 minutes she was walking around as usual.
This has worked out perfectly. Millie loooooves it! We live on a mountain pass at 11,000 feet in Colorado where it routinely reaches -20 with wind and snow. She wears this unitard everyday and prances around like is't Florida!

Even brand new colts wear No Nude Hounds coats. This is "Country's Ima Hot Flashin' ," ("Flashy Two Socks" X "Country's Cover Girl"), born April 8, 2010 @ 9PM. It was cool and damp in the barn and he was a bit chilly, so his Humans put one of their Rotweiller's coats on him and he was a happy boy! Perfect fit, but not for long!!
The coat originally belonged to a sweet old Rotty, 'LASER,' who was imported from Germany way back in the late 90's, to 'add to' Braeside's already impressive blood lines."BRAESIDE ROTWEILLERS," ('bred for type and temperment'), Woolwich Twp., NJ.  Laser was Dad to many of the highest quality Rotties around. He was also a multi-titled Schutzhund dog. He passed away in 2009 at the ripe old age of 13! I met him when he was just a pup and I had the pet-sitting business and we were all still in Michigan!
This is Stella, our GREYT Niece (our Niece, Meghan's French Bulldog). Stella is wearing her unitard. Legs are a bit long, but it keeps her warm!!

Rose, our other GREYT niece, an English Bulldog and Stella, both wearing their new NO NUDE HOUNDS coats.

Stuart, OUR Boston Terrier, visiting his cousins in Michigan. Rose wasn't too sure about Stuart because he moves around so fast and so much. Stella saw absolutely NO REASON why Stuart should be there in HER house!

Stuart is NOT doing what it looks like he's doing!! One of Meghan's cats just appeared in the kitchen and Stu wanted to see what was going on, so he used Rose to lean on! Rose was NOT impressed!
